Atiku Claims Other Political Parties Are Feeling the Pressure Three Weeks After ADC Launch

Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has claimed that rival political parties have become nervous just three weeks after the opposition coalition adopted the African Democratic Congress (ADC) as its platform.

Speaking at the unveiling and inauguration of the Ekiti State ADC Executive Council in Ado Ekiti over the weekend, where he was represented by Professor Bayode Fakunle, Atiku emphasized that the ADC is a party for all Nigerians and is poised to transform the nation’s political landscape.

“ADC was launched just about three weeks ago, and within two weeks, it has become the most dominant party in the country. All other parties are already jittery,” Atiku said.

He added, “ADC welcomes everyone with open hands, and by the grace of God, this party will take over the leadership of this country come 2027.”

Since its recent inauguration, ADC has attracted several notable political figures and vowed to unseat President Bola Tinubu’s administration in the 2027 elections.

There are growing indications that Atiku himself may seek the party’s presidential ticket for the 2027 race.
