Minutes back, an election tribunal sitting in Abuja collectively struck out the instance of the Peoples Democratic Party Governorship competitor in Ekiti State, Olusola Eleka and maintained Dr Kayode Fayemi of the APC as an appropriately chosen legislative head of the state.
A request of had been recorded by competitor of the Peoples Democratic Party in the July 14 governorship race, Prof. Kolapo Olusola testing the appointive triumph of the All Progressives Congress competitor, Dr Kayode Fayemi.
In a more than 500-page request, Olusola had asked the Ekiti Governorship Election Petition Tribunal to proclaim him as the victor of the race "having scored most of legitimate votes."
